Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the EventAlbania website located at https://www.eventalbania.comand all related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by EventAlbania ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

2. User Accounts

You may use certain features of the Service without creating an account. To access features such as ticket history, favourites, and account-based management, you must register. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@eventalbania.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Tickets and Bookings

3.1 Placing a Booking

When you purchase a ticket, you enter into a contract directly with the event organiser. EventAlbania acts as a platform and ticketing agent on behalf of the organiser and is not a party to the contract between you and the organiser, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

3.2 Booking Confirmation

Upon successful payment or free booking confirmation, a confirmation email containing a PDF with your invoice and QR codes is sent to the email address provided. You are responsible for ensuring your email address is correct. EventAlbania is not liable for non-delivery caused by incorrect contact details.

3.3 QR Codes and Entry

Each QR code is unique and valid for a single entry. Do not share your QR codes publicly. EventAlbania and the event organiser accept no liability for lost, stolen, or misused QR codes. Duplicate scanning of a QR code may result in denied entry.

3.4 Ticket Limits

We reserve the right to impose limits on the number of tickets that may be purchased per person or per transaction. Bookings that exceed stated limits may be cancelled without notice.

4. Payments

All prices are displayed in Euros (EUR) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes where stated. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By submitting payment, you authorise the charge to your provided payment method. EventAlbania does not store full card details. If a payment is declined or reversed, we reserve the right to cancel the associated booking.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Cancellation by the Ticket Holder

You may cancel a confirmed booking at any time through your account. The refund you receive depends on how far in advance of the event you cancel:

Free tickets can be cancelled at any time at no cost. Refunds for paid tickets are processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. EventAlbania does not refund Stripe processing fees where these are non-recoverable; the refund amounts stated above are calculated on the net ticket price.

5.2 Cancellation by the Organiser

If an event is cancelled or substantially altered by the organiser, all affected ticket holders will receive a full refund. EventAlbania will notify affected ticket holders by email and process refunds automatically. EventAlbania is not liable for any other costs incurred by the ticket holder (e.g., travel, accommodation) arising from an event cancellation.

5.3 Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card issuer instead of following our refund process, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending resolution and to dispute the chargeback with supporting transaction evidence.

6. Organiser Terms

6.1 Event Submission

Organisers may submit events for publication on the Service. All events are subject to review and approval by EventAlbania. We reserve the right to reject or remove any event at our sole discretion, including events that are unlawful, misleading, infringe on third-party rights, or violate these Terms.

6.2 Organiser Responsibilities

Organisers are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy of all event details including title, description, date, time, venue, and ticket pricing.
• Obtaining all necessary permits, licences, and insurance required to hold the event.
• Ensuring the event is held as advertised or promptly notifying EventAlbania and attendees of any changes.
• Providing accurate banking details for payout processing.
• Complying with all applicable laws regarding events, consumer rights, and data handling of attendees.

6.3 Payouts

Organisers receive revenue from ticket sales minus the EventAlbania service fee, which is communicated at the time of account creation or event submission. Payouts are initiated following the completion of the event, subject to verification that no refunds or disputes are pending. EventAlbania reserves the right to withhold payouts if there are unresolved disputes or suspected fraud.

6.4 Prohibited Events

Organisers may not list events that involve or promote:

• Illegal activities or goods.
• Hate speech, discrimination, or violence against any person or group.
• Misleading or fraudulent representations.
• Content that infringes intellectual property rights of any third party.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access, extract, or manipulate Service data.
• Resell tickets at a price above face value ("ticket touting") without our express written permission.
• Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information during booking or registration.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service — including the EventAlbania name and logo, design elements, text, graphics, and software — is owned by or licensed to EventAlbania and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written permission. Organisers grant EventAlbania a limited, non-exclusive licence to display event content (titles, descriptions, images) on the Service for the purpose of promoting and selling tickets.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EventAlbania shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or failure of an event to take place. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to EventAlbania in the 12 months preceding the claim.

EventAlbania acts as an agent between ticket buyers and event organisers. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of events listed on the platform.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Albania. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tirana, Albania, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in your country of residence.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, notifying registered users by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms immediately cease.
